Betaworks Ventures is a New York City-based startup studio and seed-stage venture capital firm that specializes in building and investing in network-focused media businesses. Founded in 2007 by John Borthwick, the firm has a hybrid investor/builder model, allowing it to both invest in fast-growing startups and develop its own internally built startups.
